Linnea Blomgren Cassius
Linnea is a textile artist that works with colour, rhythm and material as a starting point, and the carpet as an idea and object. Designs develop directly through material exchange and a deep technical knowledge. This knowledge affords a playful approach where sketches guide, but the loom offers freedom for experimentation and improvisation. She sees weaving as an Interaction between color and surface that creates spatiality and rhythm to express movement.
